Agenda:  Service Award

This is a chance to recognize a member for the contributions made to make our group what it is.  Contributing attributes are participation in regular meetings, on the air meetings, drills and community events along with personal initiative in forging new ideas.  We are fortunate to have so many candidates each year and this year is no different.

Review of van prep and deployment to Orwell on the 30th.

MEETING REPORTS

March   Stormy weather is a coming and there will be 25 refreshed and new spotters keeping an eye out for the clues that will define what is on its way.  Judy Levan, N2TEZ, from the National Weather Service in Buffalo, gave a spectacular program ion the how and why's of severe weather. 

A certificate of appreciation was given to Judy for her many years of providing training in the fine art of severe weather spotting.

February  Winter continues, but 15 participated in critiquing the years calendar.  Ed, AF2N gave us the program that he presented to the Oswego Rotary Club about RACES and ham radio.  Tim, KC2SKG presented his power point on the Deployment Drill for the summer.  REPP dates were given along with the request from the TRI-Oswego Triathlon group for communications assistance in June.

January  We had 13 brave souls turn out to help set an event schedule for the year.  Tim, KC2SKG presented a proposal for exercises this summer from some of the field EOC's. The calendar was created pending the outcome of some dates of other events.  Standard dates were carried over for Skywarn, Appreciation and Radiological training nights.
