|

Circa 1945 - 1947
This was the shack of Robert Gardner, W2VIV, at the Fulton Water Works, So. First St. Fulton in those earlier days. Robert passed away back in 1950 at the age of 20 years from a tragic automobile accident. His brother Donald carries on the call sign of W2VIV and Don's son Robert is found locally with the call of KC2GEZ. Can you identify the Hallicrafters receiver in the pictures? |
The following documents on this page are the guidelines that Oswego County RACES uses when responding to different events to provide communications. These are guidelines, not procedures, as it is hard to get a disaster to follow the "rules". By publishing these, we hope to give others another view of a RACES operation.
The SOG is divided into 8 sections. Not all sections are available as they contain information that is not intended for public distribution.
Section 2: Standard Operating Guidelines Tab A: This section contains maps where operating positions are installed, such as at hospitals, field EOC's and public service agencies. Tab B: Personnel. Organization chart and member lists. Tab C: Reserved Tab D: Equipment assigned. Location of OCEC/RACES installed equipment. Tab E: HF Transceiver operating guide.
